**Get Ready for *Shrek* Auditions at Chandler Center for the Arts!**
Attention all aspiring actors! Showtune Productions is thrilled to announce auditions for its much-anticipated 2026 musical production of *Shrek*. Set to be a vibrant, ethnically diverse spectacle, this fully staged production will be held at the Chandler Center for the Arts from March 13-15, 2026.
**Audition Details:**
– **Date:** Saturday, July 19, 2025
– **Time:** 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
– **Callbacks:** Sunday, August 10, 2025
– **Location:** Chandler Center for the Arts
– **Age Requirement:** 18 and over
Auditionees are required to schedule an appointment in advance, as no walk-ins will be accepted. Each performer should prepare 16 bars of a Broadway classic, bringing sheet music or an iPad with their accompaniment, as well as a professional headshot and resume. Performers will be compensated and must be available for all evening and weekend rehearsals leading up to the production.

**Pre-Audition Workshop – Enhance Your Skills!**
To help you shine in your audition, don’t miss the free Pre-Audition Workshop on Monday, July 14, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. This workshop, ideal for participants aged 15 and older, will be led by industry veterans Seth Reines and JR McAlexander. They will cover all aspects of auditioning effectively—from song selection and performance best practices to preparation of your resume and headshots.
**Highlights of the Workshop:**
– Participants should prepare 32 bars from a Broadway classic or a song from *Shrek, The Musical* and bring sheet music.
– Free theatrical headshots will be taken, so come dressed appropriately.
– Bring your existing resume and headshot for evaluation if desired.
